Hi, I’m DeAnne. It’s so good to meet you.
My goal is to help one person at a time to thrive in a time of transition.
Welcome to my blog – Making the Most of Changing Times. If you are new here, let me sum up what this site is designed to do. Making the Most of Changing Times is meant to help all of us find the strength to make a move from the family home, sort through a lifetime of “stuff”, get rid of items we no longer want or need and do it under difficult circumstances. My passion is to share what I have learned as a business owner from people who survived and thrived in spite of overwhelming odds: health conditions, age, lack of resources, loneliness and circumstances outside their control. Together we discovered our strengths, learned to exercise our gifts and talents and collectively built a foundation for growth in the face of an unprecedented time of change.
None of us know the challenges we face in the future. But we are certain that the more we find a stable footing in the middle of chaos, the better our chances of surviving and thriving become.
I’m married with three sons, two stepsons, three incredibly strong daughter-in-laws’ and numerous enthusiastic grandchildren. My husband Ralph and I live in Spokane where we own and operate Smooth Transitions of the Inland Northwest, a senior move management company. Our combined 100 years of skill set development allow us to guide seniors and their families through the daunting task of relocation, downsizing a life-time of possessions and complete estate dispersal services.
Smooth Transitions allows me to walk out my life purpose and passion – helping people in a time of transition. I wake up in the morning excited about helping people move through uncharted waters.
